Peter has a degree in History and worked in investment banking for 30 years after university. He was always based in London but worked with (mainly corporate) clients in Western Europe, Central & Eastern Europe and North America. Most recently Peter was with Commerzbank, running a small team working with European companies on equity risk management.
After retiring in 2014, Peter joined the Board of Woking & Sam Beare Hospices, where he was a Trustee for three years. His main focus at the hospice was on financial issues, but he also sat on the Income Generation and Development Committees and worked on senior executive recruitment.
Peter moved to Swanage with his wife in 2018 and joined the Forum as a Trustee in 2019. More recently, Peter has also joined the Board of Weldmar Hospicecare.
